Lonnie practices primarily in the areas of real estate transactions, business transactions, corporate and limited liability company law, probate and estate administration, and estate planning. He endeavors to conclude each matter on the client’s time schedule and to maintain frequent contact with the client during the handling of the matter.
Here is a snapshot of his practice:
Real Estate Transactions – Lonnie has handled many and varied real estate matters over the course of her career. Those have involved residential and commercial properties with financing from banks, mortgage companies, governmental entities, and private parties.
Business Transactions – The purchase and sale of an existing business requires significant documentation and attention to a number of details. Lonnie is experienced in the preparation of the required agreements and other documents and can assist the client in the process involved in buying or selling an ongoing enterprise.
Corporate and Limited Liability Company Law – Over his years of practice, Lonnie has worked with clients in organizing, establishing, and maintaining corporations, limited liability companies, and other legal entities. The need to separate an enterprise from one’s personal affairs and to achieve separate ownership is quite significant, and Lonnie assists clients regularly in accomplishing that goal.
Probate and Estate Administration – Lonnie’s practice includes the probating of wills and administering of decedents’ estates. He has assisted in countless estate matters, including intestate estates and probate matters.
Estate Planning – Although not focusing on taxation matters, Lonnie assists clients with regard to preparation of wills, powers of attorney, health care powers of attorney, advance directives, and trust agreements. He works with tax advisors for his clients in regard to the tax implications of any estate planning strategies.
